Free Color Correction FAQs
What does color correction mean?
Color correction is a process in which images go through color and exposure adjustments based on tolerance levels that are carefully set by our Lab Operations Director.
Is color correction at the event level really FREE?
Yes. Color correction at the event level is a service we are providing to you at no charge.
If I submit my event with color correction, will my proof product and Value Print orders also be color corrected?
Yes. Proof Magazines, Proof Books, Direct Proof Prints, and Value Prints are printed directly from your color corrected online images. Because these are WYSIWYG prints, we would not be able to process your returns.
Does Color correction lower the quality of prints and products I receive from Pictage?
All of our products will maintain the same high quality you have come to expect.
Can I have my film submission go through free color correction?
Yes, film submissions by default go through color correction. The cost of color correction is included in the film submission pricing.
What if I don’t like the color correction on some of the images?
In most cases, an improvement can be seen in color corrected images. Unfortunately, due to high volume, Pictage is unable to reprocess individual images or image sets. However, if requested, we’re happy to revert your images back to their original, uncorrected state. |
