How it Works
  1. Your consumer selects an image to download from your event website
  2. They click on “Buy as digital image”
  3. The image is added to their shopping cart
  4. Prior to purchase, the consumer must agree to the personal use license agreement
  5. Once purchased, the image is color corrected by professional lab technician
  6. An email is sent to the purchaser when the image is ready for download
  7. The file is downloaded from the My Pictage “My Downloads” tab

  • Q. Will my client be charged tax and shipping on his/her digital downloads order?
    A. Your client will not be charged tax and shipping for their digital download purchases.
  • Q. Why is the image not available immediately as soon as it is purchased?
    A. The image is first color corrected by a professional technician and delivered within 2 business days.
  • Q. Can my clients order all images in the event?
    A. No, however an entire folder may be ordered.
  • Q. How long does my client have to download the file(s)?
    A. Your client has up to 30 days to download the file(s).
  • Q. What kind of file will my client receive?
    A. Your client will receive a color corrected JPG file set to the SRGB colorspace.
  • Q. What does “High Resolution” entail?
    A. The dimensions of the image are the same as what was uploaded to Pictage (provided the files are no larger than 5MB). Files larger than 5MB are downsized to 3,600 pixels (longer side).
  • Q. What kind of usage rights will the client have by purchasing a digital image?
    A. The license is for personal use only. The “Personal Use License Agreement” reads as follows:
    Photographer grants buyer a non-exclusive perpetual personal-use license to download and copy the accompanying image, subject to the following restrictions:
    • This license is for personal use only. Personal use means non-commercial use of the image(s) for display on personal websites and computers, or making prints for personal use. The image(s) may not be used in any way whatsoever in which you charge money, collect fees, or receive any form of remuneration. The image(s) may not be used for advertising. The image(s) may not be resold, relicensed, or sub-licensed.
    • Title and ownership, and all rights now and in the future, of and for the image(s) remain exclusively with the photographer.
    • There are no warranties, express or implied. The image(s) are provided ‘as is.’
    • Neither photographer nor Pictage will be liable for any third party claims or incidental, consequential or other damages arising out of this license or buyer’s use of the image(s).

  1. Log-in to your Pictage Studio Homepage and click on Catalog Manager
  2. Select Professional Prints under Product Name when building your catalog.
  3. Under the print sizes, make sure to select “Digital Downloads”
  4. Enter the per image price you would like to charge clients and guests
  5. Click Save Catalog
