Features

Create a slideshow using an event folder or category.

Showcase your best images by easily creating a slideshow. You can even create a slideshow from your clients’ favorite images without bothering them - simply select your clients’ folder from the event folder dropdown list.

Set a slide effect such as pan/zoom.

You can specify either a pan/zoom or the more traditional fade in/out slide effect. Pan/Zoom is an effect where slides pan from four directions (top, bottom, right, and left) or zoom in or out of the frame. Fade in/out is an effect where a slide fades in to the next slide.

Assign custom text.

Promote your studio by displaying your phone number or providing a link to your website. The slideshow provides you with two lines of custom text.

Use any of our royalty free songs at no charge.

Set your slides to any of our royalty free songs. The songs are categorized for easy browsing. Control the pacing of your slides. You can set the slides to be anywhere from 1 to 10 seconds.

Powerful sharing features.

You can share a URL to the stand-alone slideshow or embed the slideshow into your blog, website, etc. We give you the control to embed either a slideshow that expires with the event or one that doesn’t. You can even send a personalized email with your studio’s logo..

How To

Creating a slideshow

Creating a Pictage Slideshow is incredibly easy:

  1. Click on the Create Slideshow button within your event.
  2. Select a folder or category to assign to your slideshow.
  3. Customize your slideshow by specifying a song, duration, slide length, etc.
  4. Click on Publish Slideshow.

Sharing the slideshow

After a slideshow is published, there are several ways of sharing it:

» Embed code (expires with event)

This code expires when the event expires so that upon event expiration, the slideshow will not play (the viewer is presented with a message stating the event is expired). We recommend you use this code if event expiration is crucial to the marketing of the event.

  1. At the slideshow Share page, select the dimension of the slideshow you want to display.
  2. Copy the generated code into your blog, website, etc.

» Embed code (no expiration)

This code does not expire when the event expires. This is best used for promotional events such as portfolio events embedded in your blog.

  1. At the slideshow Share page, select the dimension of the slideshow you want to display.
  2. Copy the generated code into your blog, website, etc.

» Slideshow URL

This is a direct link to a stand-alone slideshow. Note that this will always expire with the event.

At the slideshow Share page, copy the URL and paste it into an email, instant message, etc.

» Email

  1. Specify an email recipient. For your convenience, we have automatically set this to your client(s).
  2. Enter a subject for the email.
  3. Type an optional message.
  4. If you want your logo to show in the email, click on the Use My Logo checkbox.
