Scheduling Events

Part of the “Create New Event” process is event scheduling.
When scheduling an event, you need to specify:
- The type of event (wedding, portrait, corporate, etc.).
- An event title (name of the event, i.e. “John & Karen’s Wedding).
- The date of the event.
- A photographer assigned to the event (typically the photographer who shot the event).
- A catalog the event uses for products and pricing.
- An owner email. An event owner is usually the host of the event (i.e. bride). Once the event is scheduled, you are provided with a link to the event which is used to access the event once the images are available for viewing.
- An owner role. The owner role options depend on the event type. To learn more about the various owner roles, visit our support page about scheduling events.

Categorizing

About Categorizing Images
Categorizing helps you sell more by making your event better organized and easier to navigate.
- If uploading a folder, the folder name is used as the category name.
- Images that are not in a folder (i.e. selecting individual images), are automatically placed in an “Uncategorized” category.
- Categories appear in the event website based on the order specified within PUT. You can re-order the categories in PUT by clicking on the up/down buttons beside each category.

Yes. To select an external device/drive, at the Select Images to Upload page, click on "Browse Images" then under the "Look In" dropdown the storage device will be displayed. On a Mac, you will also need to navigate to the "Volumes" directory. The "Volumes" directory is located within root ('/').
My upload is complete, why are my images not yet available online?
Once we receive your images, they go through the Pictage system for processing - color correction (if selected), auto-rotation, etc., before they are released to you.

An email was sent to you after your upload with the estimated posting date. You will receive another email once the event is ready for viewing (typically within 24 hours).
