New Media Lounge

With the explosion of Twitter, video blogging and live streaming in 2009, we've partnered with WPPI, Dane Sanders' FastTrack Program, and the Bui Brothers to bring you the New Media Lounge in the Marquis Room at WPPI.

The New Media Lounge will be THE place to hang out and write or shoot your blog post scoop on what's happening at WPPI. We'll have lounges and ottomans to perch on, and plenty of outlets and chargers for your laptop or iPhone - because we know your gear can burn the juice. A free WiFi access point will enable you to publish your blog or broadcast your video the moment it's a wrap.

There will also be some compelling content in the Lounge to empower you as a professional photographer. Dane Sanders and Pictage will be broadcasting live interviews and discussions by Ustream, and the Bui Brothers will be presenting on leveraging social media to rocket your photography business.

So come along and do your blog thing, power up, meet up, put your feet up and learn at the New Media Lounge in the Marquis Hall next to the WPPI booth.
